Coupon Terminology

blinkie - a coupon that you pull out from one of the blinking machines usually found on a grocery aisle
catalina - a coupon that prints from a catalina machine; you get these at checkout sometimes
double coupons - refers to doubling a coupon's value; my Kroger doubles up to $0.50; my Lowe's Foods doubles up to $0.99
ECB - stands for Extra Care Buck, which you can earn at CVS; ECBs print on your receipt and you can use them like cash
GC - stands for gift card
inserts - refers to the coupon inserts from the Sunday newspaper
OOP - stands for out of pocket
OYNO - stands for on your next order
P&G - stands for Proctor & Gamble, one of the newspaper coupon inserts
peelie - coupon that you peel off a package
printables - coupons that you can print online; some stores do not take printables so check first!
Q - stands for coupon
RP - stands for RedPlum, one of the newspaper coupon inserts
SS - stands for SmartSource, one of the newspaper coupon inserts
